Search field reference

When using a field in a search, you streamline the search to return documents that match a supplied condition in a specific field. Fields include properties that define the document, including metadata like creation date or file name, and system data, such as custodian or source.

For projects created before Epiq Discovery, release 3.8, you can use tags in searches to refine the set of documents. For later projects, you can use the fields used in coding forms and the entity fields.
